The Arabic as a Foreign Language program (the basic section of ALS) is based on Azzaher – series of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, authored by Mrs. Afaf Sab-El-leil and Ms. Hanan Alazmeh:

1. Afaf Sab-El-leil

Background:

  • Well-known specialist in the field of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers
  • Co-author of a number of Arabic as a Foreign Language textbook series for adults and young adults (1974-present):
  • B.A in Arabic Literature, 1970

2. Hanan Al Azmeh
